TMS Solutions Expert

An opportunity exists for a TMS Solutions Expert to join a technology-driven logistics environment, providing specialist support and expertise across Transport Management Systems and related business applications.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, configuring, and enhancing business-critical applications within the production environment. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert, you will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and support teams to resolve complex system issues, improve functionality, and ensure effective delivery of technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the designated Transport Management System solution area.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and support software applications within the production environment.
• Investigate and resolve escalated application issues through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Liaise with vendors and support teams to resolve technical and application-related challenges.
• Perform application upgrades and preventative maintenance.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing for new and existing solutions.
• Develop and maintain support documentation and knowledge base resources.
• Support application integration initiatives across business systems.
• Provide a high level of support while ensuring adherence to agreed service levels.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Degree in Business Information Systems or a related field will be advantageous.
• Extensive experience working with the CarLo Transport Management System is essential.
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Transport Management environments.
• Experience with Freight Forwarding business applications would be advantageous.
• SQL report writing experience is advantageous.
• Microsoft Power BI experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience delivering in-person and remote training would be beneficial.
• Valid passport and willingness to travel when required.
