Amandla trailer manufacturing & the trailer boys Job description – Trailer Mechanic Salary - between R6000 & R7000 per month Trailer mechanics are responsible for all technical aspect of the branch, which includes maintaining and servicing the trailers. The trailer mechanic reports to the branch manager and needs to be technically minded in order to carry out most of his important duties. The individual’s engagement with customers is of a minimum nature as all enquiries should be directed to the branch manager. 1. Responsibilities Repair defective trailers by making sure all trailers are functional, roadworthy and safe to operate, regularly service all trailers, ensuring all the trailers are maintained. Hitching and unhitching trailers to and from customer vehicles, Check trailers for any defects or damage on return by the customer, Train new branch operators when required. Ensure the company tools and equipment are always in working order and clean. Carry out a weekly tools inventory checks with the assistant or branch manager 2.
