Underground Miner

Job Summary:
The Underground Miner will support underground mining activities by carrying out assigned production, development, and general mining tasks safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with underground excavation, development, production, and material-handling activities.
• Operate or assist with mining tools and equipment within areas of competence.
• Follow underground mine plans, instructions, and established operating procedures.
• Conduct workplace inspections and identify unsafe ground or working conditions.
• Use PPE and comply with all underground safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping in underground work areas.
• Report hazards, equipment defects, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary mining team.

Requirements:
Relevant underground mining experience or training is preferred. Candidates must be physically fit, safety-conscious, disciplined, and able to work in underground conditions and shifts.
