Utilities Millwright / Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Utilities Team Leader is responsible for operations and maintenance in a critical manufacturing role. The incumbent will manage a team of artisans, mechanical and electrical, and 3rd party service providers ensuring PQCDSM standards are met. Role includes commissioning/de-commissioning plant equipment as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess equipment, material, and labor needs
- Schedule and manage maintenance tasks
- Create POs for maintenance activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders
- Record breakdowns and maintenance activities
- Monitor energy usage
- Coordinate commissioning activities
- Support team development and training
- Ensure compliance with EHS requirements
- Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards
Required Qualifications:
- Full N3 Engineering Certificate or equivalent
- Trade Test Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical or Millwright
- Supervisory experience
- Expert knowledge of Utilities Plant with 3+ years hands-on experience
- Computer literate with strong technical skills
- Knowledge of SAP and Coupa beneficial
Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to troubleshoot and fault-find effectively
- Strong technical training and coaching skills
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical processes
- Excellent communication skills
