GMC Autofix Engineering Limited is seeking a skilled Welder / Metal Fabricator to support our engineering and fabrication operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, fabrication, installation, and repair of metal structures and components.

Responsibilities or duties

• Perform welding and fabrication work to approved specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
• Cut, shape, assemble, and install metal components
• Repair damaged structures and equipment
• Operate fabrication machinery and welding equipment safely
• Maintain quality standards and workshop safety procedures

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

• Certificate or Trade Qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, or related field
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Arc welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Experience needed

• Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication
