This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic agri-focused business where you'll play a key role in driving financial performance, strengthening controls, and delivering valuable insights that influence real business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and analyse daily trade P&L reports, ensuring accuracy of trading positions, inventory valuations and working capital performance.
- Support month-end close, management reporting, financial analysis and business decision-making.
- Maintain strong financial controls, compliance standards, audit readiness and risk management practices.
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives and reporting efficiencies across finance operations.
- Partner closely with trading, logistics, operations and finance teams to improve performance and resolve business challenges.
- Monitor commercial exposures, identify risks and provide timely reporting and escalation where required.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant BCom degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2–4 years' experience within a commercial finance environment.
- Strong understanding of profitability reporting, financial analysis, and accounting principles.
- Exposure to trading, inventory, commodity, agricultural, or supply chain environments will be advantageous.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Professional finance studies or memberships will be beneficial.
Technical Skills
- Financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Risk awareness and commercial acumen.
- Experience with ERP or financial reporting systems.
- Exposure to SAP or similar enterprise platforms advantageous.
