Business Support Controller (3-Month Contract)

The Person:

• Business, Finance, Accounting or related tertiary qualification.
• Proven experience within a retail or FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas and data analysis).
• Comfortable working with large data sets and financial reports.
• Excellent attention to detail with a naturally curious and investigative mindset.
• Able to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and operational stakeholders.
• Available to start immediately.

• Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies and business risks.
• Investigate unexpected movements in sales, revenue, expenses and profitability.
• Prepare accurate financial and business reports for senior management and EXCO.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all reporting before submission.
• Monitor key business metrics and identify shifts in performance.
• Assist with retailer and supplier queries and provide operational support where required.
• Support reconciliations and resolve reporting discrepancies.
• Work closely with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate reporting.
• Produce ad hoc reports and analysis as required.
