For the successful candidate, it means exposure to the full project lifecycle, from design and engineering through to manufacturing and site delivery, within a close-knit, collaborative team environment.
JOB PURPOSE
You are responsible for leading and coordinating a multidisciplinary team of approximately 10–20 personnel, including both internal resources and external contractors, to ensure the successful execution and completion of construction and commissioning phases. You will oversee the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) assembly process, ensuring that structures, chutes, OEM equipment, and conveyor systems are assembled and installed in line with approved engineering
designs and layout specifications. This phase is critical in verifying quality standards and minimising potential rework during on-site installation.
In addition, you are accountable for on-site project delivery, often in remote or cross-border locations, where you assume full responsibility for all construction activities. This includes managing SMPP and EC&I contractors, engaging directly with clients, and coordinating all stakeholders involved in the construction process.
You are expected to effectively manage project progress, risks, safety, quality, and reporting. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential to proactively address challenges and ensure that project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with required standards.
