F&I Assistant

Description:

• Provide administrative support to the Finance & Insurance Manager.
• Prepare, capture, and process finance and insurance documentation accurately.
• Compile finance application documentation for submission to financial institutions.
• Ensure all client documentation complies with FICA, FAIS, NCR, and dealership requirements.
• Verify customer information and supporting documentation.
• Prepare vehicle delivery files and ensure all required documents are complete.
• Liaise with banks, finance houses, insurance providers, and internal departments regarding finance applications.
• Monitor outstanding finance approvals and follow up where required.
• Assist with vehicle registration and licensing documentation.
• Capture and maintain accurate customer and vehicle information on dealership systems.
• Process extended warranty, maintenance plan, service plan, and insurance documentation.
• Maintain organised filing systems for finance and compliance records.

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in an F&I Assistant or Automotive Finance Administration role.
• Previous experience within a franchised automotive dealership is essential.
• Knowledge of vehicle finance and insurance administration processes.
• Understanding of FICA, FAIS, NCR, and POPIA requirements advantageous.
• Experience working with dealership management systems (Pinnacle, Automate, Autoline, Evolve, Kerridge, Drive, or similar) will be advantageous.
• Computer literate with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
