FinOps Engineer - To start immediately

FinOps Engineer – Johannesburg (Hybrid) Salary: R95,000 per month Contract: 6–12 months (project dependent) Hybrid: 3 days onsite | 2 days remote Our client is seeking an experienced FinOps Engineer to join their Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE). You'll optimise AWS and Azure cloud costs, implement FinOps best practices, and provide financial insights to support business decision-making. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field • FinOps Certified Practitioner (or willingness to obtain) • 5–8+ years' experience in FinOps, Cloud Engineering, Cloud Operations, or IT Financial Management • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cost management tools • Experience with cloud cost reporting, automation, and optimisation • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills Advantageous: • AWS or Azure certifications • Experience with MagicOrange, Power BI, SQL, Python, PowerShell, ServiceNow, or Jira • Financial Services industry experience.
