The Head of HR
Strategy is responsible for developing and
executing the Bank’s overall HR strategy in alignment with its business
objectives. This role drives organizational effectiveness, workforce planning,
talent strategy, and HR transformation initiatives to ensure the Bank has the
right people, structures, and capabilities to deliver its long-term vision. The
position also serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on all matters
relating to human capital, organizational design, and employee experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute the overall HR strategy
aligned with the Bank’s business goals, ensuring effective translation of
organizational vision into actionable people strategies and long-term workforce
planning.
Lead organizational design and development
initiatives by reviewing and redesigning structures, roles, and reporting lines
to improve efficiency, agility, and capability alignment across business units.
Drive talent strategy and workforce planning
by overseeing talent acquisition approaches, identifying future skill
requirements, addressing critical talent gaps, and building succession planning
and leadership pipeline frameworks.
Utilize HR analytics and workforce data to
support strategic decision-making, monitor key HR KPIs (including attrition,
engagement, productivity, and workforce costs), and provide insights and
recommendations to senior management.
Lead initiatives to enhance employee
experience and organizational culture, ensuring alignment of HR policies with
the Bank’s values and partnering with leadership to strengthen engagement
across all levels.
Drive HR transformation and innovation by
leading digital HR initiatives, process improvements, and benchmarking against
industry best practices and global HR trends.
Act as a strategic advisor to the Executive
Management Team, collaborating with business heads, finance, and operations on
strategic workforce and organizational issues
Lead, mentor, and develop HR strategy teams
and specialists, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring effective
stakeholder engagement across the Bank.
PREREQUISITES:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources,
Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree such as MBA or HR
specialization preferred).
At least 10–15 years of progressive HR
experience, including significant exposure to strategic HR leadership roles
within large or complex organizations (banking or financial services experience
preferred.
Proven experience in organizational design,
workforce planning, HR analytics, and HR transformation initiatives.

Proven
leadership and stakeholder management skills at executive level

business acumen and understanding of banking/financial services environment
(preferred)
