Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Relevant certificate, diploma, or qualification in Information Technology or a related field will be advantageous.
Experience- 2 to 4 years' experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with network administration, including TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi environments.
- Proficiency in network configuration, database management, and operating systems.
- Experience supporting and maintaining servers, backups, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Familiarity with the SAGE ERP system will be advantageous.
- Experience supporting CCTV systems, biometric attendance devices, and access control systems is preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesIT Infrastructure and Support- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, printers, and network equipment.
- Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, email, and network-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems promptly to minimise operational downtime.
- Maintain the company's LAN, Wi-Fi infrastructure, internet connectivity, and network security.
- Install and update operating systems, software applications, and security patches.
Systems Administration and Security- Monitor and maintain servers, backup systems, and antivirus solutions.
- Perform regular data backups and recovery procedures.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of company data and information systems.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and best practices.
- Recommend improvements to IT infrastructure and business processes to enhance efficiency and security.
Business Systems Support- Provide support for ERP, accounting, warehouse, and production systems.
- Assist users with system-related queries and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers when required.
Security Systems and Asset Management- Maintain and support CCTV systems, biometric attendance devices, and access control systems.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, including computers, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software licences.
- Assist with the setup and onboarding of IT equipment for new employees.
Documentation and Administration- Document IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide IT support during meetings, presentations, and company events.
- Prepare and maintain records relating to IT assets, maintenance, and support activities.
- Perform additional IT-related duties as required by management.
Quality, Food Safety and Compliance- Comply with all Quality Management and Food Safety policies and procedures.
- Report any food safety, quality concerns, or non-conformances to the relevant supervisors or management.
- Support and uphold company compliance standards within the manufacturing environment.
