Lead - UAS Maintenance TechnicianPretoria R22 000 nett (Includes pension and medical aid) Minimum requirements:
  • Matric
  • Qualified UASMT or related aviation qualification, diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Aviation Electronics, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
  • Proven background in drone maintenance, RC aircraft systems, aviation electronics, or mechatronic repairs
  • Experience with agricultural drones is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team in a demanding technical environment
  • Strong understanding of SACAA drone regulations and Part 101 compliance
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians while coordinating daily workshop activities to ensure optimal turnaround times
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform advanced repairs on unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related components
  • Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), conduct post-repair test flights, and ensure operations remain compliant with SACAA regulations
  • Manage stock levels of critical spare parts and digitally track all repairs and maintenance activities using internal systems
