Role: Reception / Admin Assistant
Location: Western Cape, Overberg, Hermanus
Salary: R8 000 - R12 000
What You'll Be Doing
- Reception duties, being the welcoming face and voice of the office
- General administration and accurate record keeping
- Quality-checking property listings and photographs (a sharp eye for detail is a must)
- Social media content and advertising, including working in Canva and AI-based tools
- Coordinating contractors and following jobs through to completion
- Following up on payments and keeping clients updated
- Preparing weekly statistics and taking minutes at the weekly sales meeting
- General office support, stationery orders, key cupboard control, team-building coordination
- Keeping the office tidy, professional and positive
- Jumping in wherever needed, it's a small team, and everyone helps everyone
What We're Looking For
- A stable, dependable work history
- Confident, all-round computer skills
- Comfortable creating social media content (Canva) and learning AI-based tools
- Excellent attention to detail, spelling, listings, admin accuracy
- A polite, professional telephone manner and strong people skills
- A well-presented, professional appearance
- Good time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Own reliable transport
- Fluent in both English and Afrikaans
- A genuine team player
- Reliable and consistently present, this is a front-line role
- Able to work independently, take ownership, and use initiative
- Organised, accountable, and committed to a high standard of work
