Scaffold Fixer

Job Purpose:

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Scaffolding Competency Certificate
• Working at Heights Certificate
• 2-3 years' scaffolding experience
• Medically fit
• Knowledge of tube-and-fitting and system scaffolding
• Ability to read scaffold drawings (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

• Erect scaffolding according to approved drawings.
• Dismantle scaffolding safely.
• Modify existing scaffold structures.
• Inspect scaffold components before use.
• Ensure scaffolds comply with legal and client requirements.
• Install ladders, handrails, toe boards, and access platforms.
• Secure scaffolding using appropriate ties and bracing.
• Report damaged equipment.
• Maintain safe working practices.
• Complete assigned work within project timelines.
