Scaffold Hand / General Worker

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with erecting and dismantling scaffolding
• Load, unload, and transport scaffolding materials
• Clean and maintain scaffolding equipment
• Pass tools and materials to scaffolders
• Assist in identifying damaged scaffold components
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Wear the required PPE at all times
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Grade 10 or Grade 12 (preferred)
• 0-1 year experience in construction or scaffolding
• Medically fit to work at heights
• Working at Heights certificate (advantageous)
• Physically fit and capable of manual labor
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
• No fear of heights
