Senior Design Lead

Duties:

• Lead and manage diverse design teams across multiple projects and agile squads.

• Drive the implementation of design strategies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

• Champion Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design methodologies throughout the design lifecycle.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality UX, UI, product, and service design solutions.

• Guide teams through research, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and design validation.

• Translate customer insights, market research, and business requirements into impactful design solutions.

• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes.

• Challenge technical and business decisions to optimise overall customer experience.

• Manage project delivery, resource planning, team capacity, and maintain design quality across multiple initiatives.

• Measure and communicate the impact of design initiatives to key stakeholders.

• Coach, mentor, and develop designers while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.

• Promote continuous improvement by staying abreast of emerging design trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in UI/UX and product design.

• Proven leadership experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong understanding of design methodologies, including Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design.

• Expertise in wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, and design validation.

• Ability to translate complex customer insights into clear, impactful designs.

• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with C programming language.

• Skills in typing and general usability testing.
