Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Patternmaker.
Proven experience using Lectra Modaris.
3D patternmaking experience will be a significant advantage.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and fabric behaviour.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the completion of master production patterns across various size ranges and design silhouettes.
Create and maintain basic blocks for all fabric types and silhouettes.
Develop patterns from design sketches using computer-aided patternmaking, through block manipulation or adjustment of existing patterns.
Ensure all patterns comply with established size standards, construction methods, and quality benchmarks.
Check and validate pattern accuracy throughout the development process.
Assess made-up garments for quality of workmanship and fit.
Advise the factory on alternative construction methods and pattern engineering to improve fit and efficiency.
Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to develop or issue block patterns for new styling and fit.
Build, maintain, and manage a digital pattern library, including supplier patterns, ensuring accuracy at PPS stage.
Attend meetings with designers to review and finalise products.
Refine, adjust, and file patterns in line with final design approvals.
