As Senior Specialist, Condition Monitoring, you will be at the forefront of this culture, spearheading efforts to improve the availability and reliability of process plant assets. This full-time position requires a strategic leader to manage and develop the condition monitoring and lubrication team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Specialist Condition Monitoring Jobs Kalumbila Lead and mentor the condition monitoring and lubrication team, providing ongoing training, performance management, and conflict resolution. Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and work management processes.

Oversee execution of all lubrication and condition monitoring preventive maintenance tasks. Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of inspections and condition monitoring alerts.

Facilitate effective communication and reporting with other departments to ensure timely action on monitoring alerts. Support root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for significant incidents and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance condition monitoring and lubrication strategies. Implement succession planning to ensure the right talent is in place across all positions.

Essential Qualifications and Experience Engineering degree in a relevant field or significant experience in planning and reliability management. Minimum of 10 years’ experience in condition monitoring within the mining industry.

At least 5 years in a senior supervisory role. Certifications in predictive maintenance techniques such as Level II vibration analysis, NDT Level II, with additional certifications in oil analysis, thermography, or ultrasonic testing considered an advantage.

Proficiency with maintenance and reliability systems including ERP or CMMS, SCADA, OsiSoft PI, and database management. Experience with fixed plant facilities and equipment strategy methodologies like RCM, FMEA, or MTA.

Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project. Valid driver’s license with at least 12 months driving experience.

Key Attributes for Success Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills with the ability to meet targets independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Effective resource allocator ensuring high-quality execution of delegated and personal tasks.
