Gramus Express Farms Ltd is looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Stock Controller to oversee stock management for its butchery operations in Ndola.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and record incoming meat and other stock.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
• Monitor daily stock movements, issues, sales and balances.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconciliations.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, variances or damages.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of meat and other products.
• Work closely with the production, sales and accounts teams.
• Prepare regular stock reports for management.
• Help minimise stock losses, wastage and discrepancies.
• Ensure stock records are properly maintained and updated.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma or relevant qualification in Stock Management, Inventory Management, Food Production, Butchery, Meat Technology or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in stock control, inventory management or a related role.
• Experience in a meat, butchery, food production or related environment is strongly preferred.
• Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Good computer and Excel skills.
• Ability to conduct physical stock counts and reconciliations.
• Honest, organised and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

2. STOCK CONTROLLER – FATIMA FARM

Full Time

Gramus Express Farms Ltd is seeking a responsible and organised Stock Controller to manage and monitor stock and inventory records at its agricultural operations at Fatima Farm.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of farm stock, supplies and materials.
• Monitor receipt, storage and usage of agricultural inputs.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconciliations.
• Track feed, farm supplies, equipment and other production-related materials.
• Monitor stock movements and prepare regular reports.
• Identify and report shortages, wastage, damage and variances.
• Maintain proper documentation for all stock transactions.
• Work closely with farm management and accounts.
• Support proper planning and control of agricultural inputs.
• Ensure stock records are accurate, updated and properly filed.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Agricultural Economics, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Animal Science, Agricultural Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in stock control, inventory management or agricultural operations.
• Experience working with agricultural inputs, farm supplies or production materials will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of agricultural production and farm inputs.
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Good Excel/computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

The successful candidate will combine sales and marketing responsibilities with basic IT and digital support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Marketing

• Develop and implement sales and marketing activities.
• Identify and pursue new customers and business opportunities.
• Promote the company's products and services.
• Maintain good relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct market research and monitor customer needs and market trends.
• Assist with promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, supervising production staff and ensuring that products are prepared efficiently and according to required quality, hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise daily butchery production activities.
• Supervise and manage production staff.
• Allocate duties and monitor staff performance.
• Ensure production targets are achieved efficiently.
• Monitor the preparation, processing, packaging and handling of meat products.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of production equipment.
• Monitor production stock and minimise wastage.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
