Technical Sales Representative – Water Transfer & Pumping Solutions

Permanent Position | Western Cape | Field-Based with Office Component

Basic Salary: R15,000 – R25,000 per month (dependent on experience) + Uncapped Commission

The Role

You will manage and grow an existing customer base while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities across the Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities throughout the Western Cape.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
  • Service customers across the agricultural, industrial, mining, manufacturing, construction, civil engineering and domestic sectors.
  • Prepare quotations, follow up opportunities and close sales.
  • Create and Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide market feedback.
  • Work closely with the internal team to deliver excellent customer service.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven external B2B sales experience, preferably in a technical environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn technical products.
  • Fluent English and Afrikaans communication skills.
  • A proactive hunter mentality with a passion for developing new business.
  • Confidence engaging with farmers, contractors, engineers, municipalities and industrial customers.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and contribute positively as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
