Key Responsibilities

  • Drive branch sales performance and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with national objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Lead, coach and develop branch staff to achieve high performance.
  • Oversee branch operations, ensuring efficiency, safety and compliance with company standards.
  • Manage stock control processes, ensuring stock accuracy, loss prevention and effective inventory management.
  • Monitor debtor accounts in partnership with the finance team to ensure sound financial control.
  • Assist with annual sales and cost centre budgeting and ensure expenditure remains within approved budgets.
  • Analyse branch performance data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure branch objectives align with overall business strategy.
  • Travel nationally when required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • A tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management or a related field is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior external sales role with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Previous experience managing branch operations or leading a sales team.
  • Strong understanding of sales, customer service, stock control and branch administration.
  • Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets, cost centres and financial controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with stock management and inventory control.
  • Advanced computer literacy, including SAP and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and relocate in future should business requirements dictate.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
  • Friday: 07:30 – 16:00
