Key Responsibilities
- Perform electronic and mechanical testing, fault-finding, and repairs on supported products.
- Ensure repaired equipment meets original performance and quality standards.
- Provide technical support to customers via telephone, email, live chat, and at the service counter.
- Deliver professional, friendly, and efficient customer service.
- Record product failures and provide valuable feedback to Quality, Production, and R&D teams.
- Assist with identifying product trends and recommending continuous improvements.
- Maintain accurate service reports, repair records, CRM, and SAP documentation.
- Support product testing, technical training, exhibitions, site visits, and other ad hoc technical projects.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
- Respond to customer enquiries within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
- Participate in overtime, after-hours support, weekend shifts, and stock take activities when required.
What We're Looking For
- N3/S2 qualification (or currently studying towards) in Electronic, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Good understanding of electronic principles and concepts.
- Strong practical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Computer literate with the ability to work on SAP, CRM, or similar systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical customers.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A customer-first mindset with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, accountable, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
