- Promote a portfolio of pharmaceutical products to General Practitioners, Specialists, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Deliver accurate, up-to-date scientific information to healthcare professionals through individual detailing and group presentations.
- Manage and develop a designated sales territory, ensuring effective coverage and call frequency.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, clinics, wholesalers, and other key stakeholders.
- Achieve and exceed territory sales targets through effective territory planning and execution.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities and provide valuable market insights.
- Attend medical meetings, educational events, conferences, and congresses as required.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, business reviews, and territory reports for management.
- Support pharmacy-related activities, including product education, stock monitoring, servicing customer requests, and order facilitation where applicable.
- Ensure all adverse events, product complaints, and pharmacovigilance information are identified and reported in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and data integrity requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, General Medicine, Dental Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years' pharmaceutical sales experience within the assigned territory.
- Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
