Junior Sales Representative position

Are you passionate about sales, customer service, and building strong client relationships? Clydesdale is looking for an energetic and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients, manage orders from start to finish, and contribute directly to the success of a well-established arts and crafts business.

Duties 

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers
• Promote products and keep clients informed about new offerings and services
• Assist customers with placing orders and navigating our online ordering system
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Track orders from quotation through to delivery
• Ensure invoices, payments, and customer documentation are handled correctly
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
• Assist with stock handling and order dispatch processes
• Maintain accurate sales records and update sales tracking systems
• Plan customer visits and delivery routes efficiently where required

Requirements 

• Matric (additional sales, marketing, or business qualifications advantageous)
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, or order administration
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Computer literacy and confidence working with online systems
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's licence
