MERCHANDISING ASSISTANT

? Key Responsibilities:

• Support product development, customer orders, and tender processes.
• Coordinate fabric and trim procurement, sampling, approvals, and laboratory testing.
• Maintain critical path timelines and update internal systems.
• Assist with fabric sourcing and supplier coordination.
• Track shipments, documentation, and approvals to ensure on-time delivery.
• Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, mills, and customers.

✅ Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a clothing, textile, sourcing, or merchandising environment is advantageous.
• Understanding of garment manufacturing, fabric sourcing, and product development processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent organisational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
