Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Solaris 11 operating systems
- Manage user accounts, roles and permissions to ensure appropriate access control
- Develop and execute backup and recovery plans for critical data and applications
- Analyze systems performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps
- Work with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and integrations
Job Experience and Skills Required:- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in system administration on Solaris 11
- Solaris 11 administration experience
- Thorough understanding of the setup and administration of the following Solaris 11 technologies: Logical Domains, SMF administration, IPS, ILOM, and Network configuration, including IPMP
