Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finance department, including performance, workload allocation and team development.
  • Oversee day-to-day cash flow, liquidity management and group funding requirements.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close process across multiple entities.
  • Prepare and review group consolidations, management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis process.
  • Oversee VAT, PAYE, provisional tax, company tax and statutory compliance across the group.
  • Manage the external audit process and maintain a strong internal control environment.
  • Support the CFO with board reporting, financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
  • CA(SA) registered with SAICA (essential).
  • Minimum 3 years' post-articles experience in Financial Control, Reporting or Management Accounting.
  • Proven experience managing finance teams within a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with group consolidations, intercompany accounting and operational cash flow management.
  • Extensive knowledge of IFRS, South African tax legislation and SARS eFiling.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience within property, retail, hospitality or other multi-entity commercial environments will be highly advantageous.
